Esther Hoogendijk (1987) currently living and working in The Netherlands. She graduated in 2009 from the AKI, (ArtEZ) in Enschede and did her master at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
Her objects slowly change shape, color and matter over a period of time under the influence of air displacement, evaporation, decomposition, growing / living or touching the work. The work shows the passage of time and the natural and human influences. The works are characterized by the fact that it always seems as if something has happened.
