Mariadela Araujo is a Venezuelan artist, textile artist and fashion designer currently residing between Barcelona and Brussels. After finishing her fashion studies at Accademia Koefia and IED Rome in Italy, she moved to Barcelona to open and run several design and fashion projects. In January 2018 Mariadela decided to create a very experimental project, a textile laboratory that involves the research of color interaction and materials. Working with traditional crafts techniques like weaving, embroidery and sewing, she shapes powerful and colored art pieces, big format and public spaces installations as experimental small pieces.
