Founded in Amsterdam in 2007, Rademakers Gallery is an internationally recognised contemporary art gallery representing over 55 artists working across textile, sculpture, photography, ceramics, glass, lighting, furniture and mixed media.
Known for our pioneering focus on contemporary textile art, we represent artists whose practices are defined by craftsmanship, material innovation and meaningful storytelling. Through exhibitions, international art fairs and commissions, we connect exceptional contemporary art with collectors, architects, interior designers, developers, hospitality groups and cultural institutions worldwide.
Commissioning Contemporary Art
Every project begins with understanding the vision behind a space. Rather than presenting a catalogue of artworks, we carefully select artists whose work naturally complements the architecture, atmosphere and ambitions of each project.
Whether adapting an existing work or developing a new site-specific commission, we oversee every stage of the process—from artist selection and concept development to production, logistics and installation—creating a seamless collaboration between artist, client and project team.
Our artists have realised projects ranging from monumental textile installations and sculptural commissions to bespoke lighting, furniture and curated art collections for hotels, private residences, workplaces and public spaces.
Our Artists
Our artists work across a wide range of disciplines, united by a shared commitment to craftsmanship, innovation and authenticity. Many explore sustainability through reclaimed or bio-based materials, while others reinterpret traditional techniques through contemporary perspectives.
Rather than adapting artists to fit a commission, we match each project with an artist whose practice naturally belongs within its architectural and cultural context.
International Perspective
Based in Amsterdam, we work internationally across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.
By bringing together exceptional artists and visionary clients, we create artworks that become an integral part of architecture, collections and the spaces people inhabit.
