Overview

On Sunday, 13 December 2026, Carli Hermès opens the doors to his studio in central Amsterdam. Rademakers Gallery invites you to meet the photographer and discover a selection of recent and archival works available to acquire.

Known for his bold use of colour, staged compositions and cinematic atmosphere, Hermès has developed a distinctive visual language across fine art, fashion and advertising. His photographs combine a precise command of light and form with a sense of tension and desire, creating images that move between the familiar and the unexpected.

The open studio brings together works from different periods of his practice, offering an opportunity to explore the ideas and visual experiments behind his photography. The selection includes works from Reflections and Distortion, alongside photographs such as Red Light, Blue Light and Buttocks.

Visit between 13.00 and 17.00 to view the works in person and speak with Carli about his approach and process. Everyone is welcome. You can register using the RSVP button below.
