Tiemen Harder

Tiemen Harder (1995) is a Design Academy Eindhoven -trained craftsman and product designer, whose practice explores creativity as a living, cyclical process. Inspired by ecological rhythms, He approaches making as a form of cultivation where ideas germinate, take root, and gradually unfold into material form.

Through a playful and exploratory approach, Tiemen Harder seeks unconventional ways of engaging materials, embracing imperfection and experimentation. His practice resists rigid, outcome-driven design models, instead tending to ideas with patience and care. Creating objects that embody growth, attention, and quiet transformation

Working primarily with ceramics, alongside woodworking and drawing, Tiemen Harder treats craft as meditation. Clay becomes both mirror and collaborator, responding directly to touch, attention, and emotion. Presence, breath, and intuition guide the work, allowing each piece to carry traces of its making.
