Mae Engelgeer is a Dutch textile designer recognized for her innovative and refined approach to textile design. Based in the Netherlands, she studied Textile Design at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and later completed a Master’s in Applied Arts at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. Her work reflects a strong commitment to craftsmanship, combined with a contemporary sensibility that positions her within the broader landscape of Dutch design.

Engelgeer’s practice is characterized by a careful balance between colour, material, and structure. Her textiles often feature subtle palettes, geometric compositions, and a nuanced interplay of textures.
