Technique: Rik ten Velden got inspired by experimentation with a beautiful 3D-knitting machine.
This lamp shade is created in cooperation with the Dutch Textile Lab by Textielmuseum Tilburg. 3D-knitted woolen shades are applied at a steel frame. The steel construction makes it possible to adjust the position of the lamp shade. The lamp shade rests on a ball joint.
