FEMM Amsterdam is founded by designer Femke (b. 1990), who is inherently fascinated by the immediate beauty and power of colour. Each and every one of her eye-catching designs, exudes an intense energy that will make your everyday life that much brighter.

For a period of over 5 years, she worked as a multidisciplinary stylist for various international clients and magazines. Her sensitivity to colours, lines and compositions manifested itself in unexpected set designs and aesthetic images. Often, she would take leftover paper – a childhood fascination - from photoshoots back home with her. Slowly but surely an impressive collection of paper came into being, from 2020 onwards paper and paint form the starting point of her own visual explorations.

In her design studio and showroom in Amsterdam, color is extensively studied, tested, and applied. With a variety of colorful designs, ranging from custom-made wall covering, bespoke carpets and acoustic panels, she elevates various spaces - from hotels to residences - to a new and unique level. Every design is a unique reflection of Femm’s love for her surroundings. Whether it’s the zestful energy of a city, the verticality of the architecture or the captivating hues of the sunrise and sunset that she absorbs on her journeys, these experiences never fail to offer creative impulses. With her warming yellow and peach hues, striking light blues and vivid mintgreens, she hopes to add a dash of optimism to the world at large – and to your world specifically.

FEMM Amsterdam regularly participates in international (group) exhibitions and art and design shows. Her work was mentioned in, amongst others, Elle Decoration, Volkskrant Magazine, DesignWanted, Linda. Magazine, Eigen Huis & Interieur, Residence.
