EDITIONShigh quality, low price, sustainable ... especially for young collectors
Every once in a while, different artists, always 'EDITIONS' of 50 and always for € 350,00
We are delighted to present our ninth Edition of this year made by Stefan Gross.
THE PLANT that this tuber will become will be recognised by only a few. Everyone knows the tuber itself. Fat or thin, red or brown, whoppers like this, with pustules, you can't go wrong!
As an icon of the deep darkness, he diligently builds a subterranean network of multiform congeners. For example, an army of billions of potatoes worldwide leads a hidden existence. Until that one moment: the harvest. Then another story begins. It becomes a portion on your plate, mash, eco-chip, wallpaper paste or vodka. In daylight we also see the strength that this tuber has in it. That's why we call it POWERPLANT. We shed a tear at that thought, because despite his fate as a chip or slice, in all modesty he is also the core of the cycle of life.
8th EDITION 2021 : Pien Post
As part of the KNOT series, the Edition made by Pien Post is a lamp made from knotted and hand-dyed ropes. The small lamp can be presented in multiple ways; hung on a wall or placed on a surface. Get one or more lamps and arrange them as you wish, embracing the playful character of this knotted piece.
7th EDITION 2021 : Isa van Lier
For this edition Isa van Lier made a family of ceramic Eggs. These playful glazed sculptures are puzzle shaped egg islands that talk to you on a universal language of form. The eggs form puzzle-like pieces that play with the tension between the positive and negative space of shapes, as the yolk and the egg-white are inseparably intertwined with each other.
By pairing the eggs into duo’s a narrative arises that opens up your imagination as if there is a relationship between the two eggs; mother and child, brother and sister, lovers or friends, these eggs are all part of a big family that tries to open up your mind for some playful imagination.
All eggs are handmade, glazed and unique in their shape and size.
6th EDITION 2021 : MAAYKE SCHUITEMA
Following the edition 'The Battle', Maayke now comes with 'The Battle II'. Where in May 2020 the world tried to arm itself against the Covid virus, 'the weapon' itself is currently being used. The billions of 'shots' that are now being taken worldwide must lead to our newfound freedom that is so desired. Are these vaccines going to bring us back to pre-covid life before 'The battle' or will there always be a battle between humanity and the virus?
'A Shot for freedom' is the text that accompanies the warring woman in the work of Maayke Schuitema. The syringe is her weapon for her freedom. She stands alone and is unique in her emotion, but at the same time she is just a patient number. The different vaccine brands are printed in white in the background. The red boxing gloves emphasize our struggle, in every form; against the virus, against the government, against the obligation, for your health, for your freedom...
Also available with a black wooden frame on black passe-partout paper with glass. Instead of €350,00 the prize will be €525,00.
